Started my college studies at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. Missed Jersey and came back where I graduated from Montclair State University and received a BA in Communications. I graduated with several academic and civic honors including being selected the recipient of Who's Who in American Universities and Colleges. After graduation, in search of scholarship money for graduate school, I had the pleasure and experience of competing in the Miss America pageant. What an experience! I did well...traveled...and actually was voted Miss Congeniality by my peers! I guess my early socialization at Weehawken High School paid off! Traveled to New York City where I spent many years in the beauty industry. Became a Vice President of National Sales for a major cosmetic corporation where I traveled from LA to NYC every month....and loved it.
